A Health Coach is a supportive mentor and wellness authority who works with clients to help them feel their best through food and lifestyle changes. Instead of prescribing one diet or way of exercising, Health Coaches tailor individualized wellness programs to meet their clients' needs.

Relationships, exercise, career, and spirituality are just as important to your health as the food you eat. Health Coaches understand this and take a holistic approach to supporting the whole person.

Healthy Dark Chocolate

Prep Time

5-10 min

Cooking Time

5-10 min

Yields

16 oz (2 Cups)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cacao butter
  • 1 cup  cacao powder
  • 1/3 cup raw honey or to taste using 1/4 cup or less will make a bittersweet chocolate. (Monk fruit or maple syrup could be used.)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (alcohol free preferably) or other flavors to taste
  • 2/3 cup roasted macadamia nuts

Directions

1. Place the raw cacao butter in a small sauce pan and heat on medium to melt,

once it starts melting and you can stir, add the cacao and sweeter.

2 . Lower heat too low, add vanilla and keep stirring until it's all melted. (5-10 min)

3. While you are waiting, grease a plate with coconut oil for the cups. Place small cupcake baking cups on the plate.

Place 3 macadamia nuts in each.

4. Allow mixture to cool a few minutes so it's not boiling hot and then pour it into the cups. Place it in the refrigerator for

2-3 hours until hardened chocolate. Enjoy every bite!

Notes

You can get creative with the flavors. Orange flavor, almonds, and mint.

Or  make a chocolate bark by pouring a thin layer in a glass container, sprinkle crumbled frozen berries and chopped macadamia nuts on top!
