Per 1 Serving

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Organic Quick oats 
  • 1 Cup water or nut/ coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon Ghee (optional)
  • Dash of salt
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • Small dash of nutmeg, ginger, clove powder
  • Topping: Berries and favorite nuts (I like crushed walnuts)


Directions

  1. In a small/medium sauce pan bring liquid and salt to a boil. 
  2. Stir in oats boil for 1 minute, stirring occasionally. 
  3. Stir in ghee and your favorite spices to taste. Cover and remove from heat.

Notes

The balance of whole grains, good fats, and nut protein in the morning helps prevent a spike in blood sugar. It provides you with lasting fullness and energy. It also adds great flavor.
